"How Often Do Credit Card Companies Sue For Non Payment"
According to a study done by CreditCards.com, credit card companies sue for non-payment about 1% of the time. This means that for every 1000 people who don't pay their credit card bill, 10 will be sued.
While this may seem like a small number, it's important to remember that credit card companies have other ways of collecting debts besides suing. They can (and often do) hire debt collectors, which can be very aggressive.
If you're behind on your payments, it's important to contact your credit card company and try to work out a payment plan. If you can't do that, then at least try to negotiate a settlement agreement. If you do end up getting sued, make sure you show up for court and don't ignore the summons!
