"What Happens After 341 Meeting"
A 341 meeting is the first meeting of creditors in a bankruptcy case. The debtor must attend the meeting and answer questions under oath from the trustee and creditors about their financial affairs and bankruptcy petition.
After the 341 meeting, the debtor will continue to make payments on any debts that are not discharged in bankruptcy. The trustee will also continue to collect and sell any nonexempt property of the estate. If the debtor has completed all required payments and there is no more nonexempt property to sell, the case will be closed.
