What To Bring To Your 341 Meeting Of Creditors
If you are filing for bankruptcy, you are required to attend a 341 Meeting of Creditors. This meeting is also sometimes called a “341 Hearing” or a “First Meeting of Creditors.” The purpose of this meeting is for the bankruptcy trustee to ask you questions about your bankruptcy case, and for creditors to have an opportunity to ask you questions as well.
You are not required to bring anything to this meeting, but it is generally a good idea to bring a copy of your bankruptcy petition and any schedules that you have filed with the court. It is also a good idea to bring any documentation that the trustee or creditors may ask for, such as tax returns, pay stubs, bank statements, or documents related to any assets that you have listed in your bankruptcy schedules.
