What To Bring To Your 341 Meeting Of Creditors

If you are filing for bankruptcy, you are required to attend a 341 meeting of creditors. This meeting is also sometimes called a "341 hearing" or a "creditors' meeting." The purpose of this meeting is for the bankruptcy trustee to question you about your bankruptcy petition and schedules.

You will need to bring several things with you to your 341 meeting. These include:

Your photo ID

Your bankruptcy paperwork

Any documents that the trustee requests

Proof of payment for your filing fee

Be sure to arrive early to your 341 meeting. This will give you time to check in with the trustee and make sure that you have all of the required documents.
