After filing for bankruptcy, it is important to attend the 341 meeting. This is also known as the creditors' meeting and is presided over by a trustee appointed by the United States Bankruptcy Court. Once you have attended your 341 Meeting, now the next step in your bankruptcy journey can begin.

The next step is to complete a document called a Statement of Financial Affairs (SOFA). This document will include information about any assets, liabilities and income that you have. Additionally, you need to provide copies of all financial records such as tax returns and pay stubs for at least two years prior to filing for bankruptcy. The SOFA needs to be filed with the court within 14 days after attending your 341 meeting.

Once these documents are filed, you can start considering any repayment plans or debt consolidation options that may help you on your way toward financial freedom.
